Director, Finance Head

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of finance and its activities that include financial accounting, cost and management accounting, credit control, taxation in Singapore.
• Responsible for all tax administration and compliance matters including tax advisory, transfer pricing AND filing all statutory tax returns promptly.
• Responsible for the timely submission and consolidation of monthly/quarterly management reports & its analysis to Regional Finance team.
• Responsible for annual statutory audit and preparation of annual accounts/reports for compliance with local government regulations as well as internal auditors.
• Treasury matters, including cash flow planning & requirements as well as Delegation of Authority Matric for compliance and roll out into Banking, ERP and its interfaces .
• Manage the Company's payments and receivables and its governance with clients and Trade channels.
• Manage a team of finance staff to ensure the accurate and timely financial and management reporting including budget preparation and forecasting.
• Establish and maintain the Company's internal controls, including the development and implementation of financial guidelines, policies and procedures 
• Review work processes, policies and procedures, identify areas of improvement and rectify internal control weaknesses using the workflow of the Finance system
• Liaise with banks, external auditors, internal auditors, tax authorities and external parties Regional Finance team as required to ensure compliance with relevant legislations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Qualified CA or CPA required
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience preferably in retail, distribution or wholesale trade
• Highly analytical and pay excellent attention to details
• Possess a high level of independence, initiative, integrity and resourcefulness in tacking issues and matters for the Group
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
• Experience in corporate finance work in the retail industry would be highly advantageous
• Meticulous and analytical.
