They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.


Job description

Responsibilities :


  • Design, implement and manage programs that enhance skills related to employees’ functions and close their competency gaps.
  • Create training and development initiatives and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Developing an organization-wide annual learning and development plan
  • Auditing and assessing learning and development needs
  • Developing training plans and ensuring everybody gets the training required to perform better
  • Monitoring the success of the training plan
  • Balancing training spending with value gained
  • Controlling the training budget
  • Working with internal and external trainers to deliver best-in-class quality
  • Ensuring certifications are logged and captured in the training history
  • Processes employees’ assignments and nomination/placement of professional development programs' participants. Processes for approval submitted transactions of accepted participants.
  • Provides customer guidance and monitors academic performance progress to ensure impactful outcomes and counsels participants as necessary.
  • Communicates regularly with sponsoring organizations about candidates' nominations/registrations, development plans and academic progress to ensure that corporate and national talent development needs are met. Advises customers or participants of approved policies and guidelines.
  • Screens and evaluates development program candidates and reviews nature of proposed assignment to ensure proper placement/meaningful plans.
  • Assists in the evaluation or delivery of professional or talent development solutions.
  • Prepares various statistical reports on operational performance on monthly, quarterly and annual basis or whenever needed. Prepares data reports and consults with SMEs to consolidate findings.
  • Conducts orientation for newly joined staff members and to newly joined participants.


Requirements :


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a business/system related discipline from a recognized and approved program. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM, HRCI, CIPD
  • Personable, good communication skills, analytical, strategic and a good listener.
  • You should have 10 to 15 years of experience in HR functions, preferably in competency management and people development
  • Fluent English / Arabic is not essential but desirable
