Role Outline:

• The Risk & Assurance function within our FMCG client's organization is dedicated to providing independent, objective assurance and risk consulting services aimed at enhancing operations. Our mission is to boost and safeguard organizational value through risk-based, objective assurance, advice, and insights. We employ a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes to help us achieve our objectives.
• One of the key pillars within the Risk & Assurance Function is the Professional Practices group, which acts as the driving force for Audit/Assurance and Non-Financial disclosure engagements. This group focuses on the development and maintenance of audit tools with an emphasis on Data Analytics, overall enhanced Quality Assurance, and centralized reporting of all audit and assurance activities.
• In summary, the Professional Practices Pillar is responsible for steering the complex transformation of their function by accelerating productivity, increasing efficiency and effectiveness, expanding risk coverage, enhancing audit planning, scoping, and quality, and facilitating data-driven desktop reviews, among other critical initiatives.

Your Role:

• As the Lead Professional Practices – Audit & Data Analytics, your role is pivotal in supporting the Head of Professional Practices - Data & Technology.
• You will contribute significantly to our FMCG client's digital transformation journey, emphasizing the use of advanced technology and data analytics to improve audit coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive Data Analytics Toolbox to enhance efficiency in assurance programs and audit activities.
• This will support various initiatives such as SOX, Fiscal Compliance, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption efforts.
• Execute data analytics to effectively assess data-driven insights and exceptions. You will communicate audit findings, insights, and risk areas through audit reports and visual dashboards.
• Perform Data Analytics support activities for all audit and assurance services throughout their lifecycle, including defining audit scope and objectives, data discovery, data interpretation, data cleansing, and applying analytics techniques to understand large datasets.
• Create Power BI dashboards to communicate audit findings, insights, and risk areas for the benefit of the audit process.
• Conduct data-driven desktop reviews and communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to programs aimed at enhancing technology and data analytics capabilities for all auditors.
• Support Data-Driven Risk Identification and help identify and measure data-driven risks for Enterprise Risk Management.

Requirements:

• A university degree (BA/BS) in fields such as Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics, etc.
• Post University Professional Certification/Education is a plus, e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Executive Master Internal/Operational Auditor (EMIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), etc.
• 4+ years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, with a preference for experience in one of these roles.
• Relevant experience in areas like public accounting, audit, consulting, and data analytics, with familiarity in topics such as Power BI/DAX, SQL, Macros/VBA, Python/R, and Process mining being advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Curiosity and the ability to identify insights and emerging risks through data analytics.
• Knowledge of SAP data models and standard modules is a plus.
