Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled and all issues followed up and accounted for monthly
• Ensure that journals are entered and processed in a timely manner to meet month end timetables
• Inventory value adjustments
• Duty drawback returns
• Profit estimate to be produced by the second working day of each month
• Weekly dashboard reports including profit and expenses
• General account reviews and reconciliations
• Weekly management reports
• Variance analysis and reporting
• All purchasing and direct material reporting
• Monthly factory cost updates
• Monthly Engineering Change Notice ( ECN ) report
• Investment request analysis
• Assist Financial Controller with Electro Control Systems ( ECS ) reporting
• Organise cyclical stocktake as required
• Prepare discontinued stock advice and complete journal entries for adjustments of stock accounts
• Financial partnering with the supply chain & production team on continuous improvement/value-added activities

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
• C.P.A. or CA certification (desirable)
• An analytical mind
• Advanced Excel and data integration skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Commercial and business awareness
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
• Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
