Job description

Overview:


  • An Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographic region. 
  • Their primary role is to drive revenue growth by developing sales strategies, managing sales teams, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. 
  • They analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and coordinate with marketing and distribution teams to maximize market share. 
  • The Area Sales Manager also monitors team performance, provides training and guidance, and ensures consistent implementation of company policies and sales processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Delivering primary and secondary sales targets within assigned cluster/ region by driving our core business.
  • Identify new business opportunities & nominate to drive the selected offering where we can win.
  • Driving demand generation of key products through user engagement to achieve desired results.
  • Build & manage relationships with importers, important wholesale & retail outlets & potential influencers.
  • Ensure timely primary order collection, maintain commercial hygiene, pricing for the country.
  • Support leadership to drive the BTL objectives aligned for the said cluster/ region. In addition, conduct monthly business reviews with local team against the said BTL target.
  • Capture & maintain user data & track BTL objective achievement update against it.
  • Closely engage with sales team to drive sales numbers
  • Mandatory market-working with development & sales team to drive conversion, upgradation & sales. Capture market insights like our products’ feedback & competitor information - performance, team strength, ways of working, pricing, etc.
  • Ensure timely submission of claims with complete documentation as per & local laws of the land.
  • Follow & abide by COC


Requirements:


  • Min 7 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing with user engagement (of which 3 yrs managerial experience is preferred). 
  • Candidates from Paints, Adhesives, Cement, Construction Chemicals & other Building material industry preferred.
  • Graduate from a recognized university. MBA preferred
