Job description

Responsibilities: 


Strategic Growth & Market Expansion


  • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy for domestic and international markets.
  • Export Clients (especially for food ingredients and value-added products).
  • Identify new market opportunities in food ingredients, fruit pulp and IQF industries and value -added products.
  • Conduct market research to analyse consumer trends, competitor activities, pricing insights, and demand patterns.


Revenue & Sales Leadership


  • Drive annual sales targets and growth plans for all food processing verticals.
  • Build high-performing sales, distribution, and channel teams.
  • Evaluate and optimize sales routes, distribution networks, and dealer/channel profitability.


Key Account Management


  • Identify and onboard strategic clients, including:
  • Modern trade
  • Institutional buyers
  • Bulk buyers
  • Export clients  
  • Manage long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and trade partners.


Brand Development & Marketing Collaboration


  • Work with the marketing team to plan brand positioning, pricing strategies, product visibility, and promotional activities.
  • Explore partnerships with farmers, aggregators, food processing clusters and sourcing vendors.
  • Identify and negotiate tie-ups with co-packers, distributors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers.


 Business Analysis & Reporting


  • Monitor sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.
  • Provide monthly reports on business performance, competition mapping and growth projections.


Requirements:


  • MBA in Marketing/Sales, Food Technology, or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Food ingredients/FMCG/food processing/agribusiness.
  • Strong network across distributors, institutional buyers, and supply chain partners.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
