Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Drive business planning and formulation of financial targets aligned to growth objectives.
- Provide financial and commercial advice to the Board and senior leadership team.
- Monitor effectiveness of financial controls and implement scalable systems and SOPs.
- Manage cash flow and debt within covenants.
- Oversee statutory reporting and compliance across global jurisdictions.
FP&A & Storytelling
- Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario modeling.
- Develop KPI frameworks and real-time dashboards.
- Prepare Board packs with insightful commentary and trend analysis.
- Partner with business heads to translate numbers into actionable insights.
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Oversee group consolidation and multi-entity accounting (IFRS/Ind AS/local GAAP).
- Ensure tax planning and compliance (direct, indirect, transfer pricing, GST, VAT).
- Maintain robust internal controls and manage treasury, liquidity, and FX risk.
Technology & Data
- Implement Zoho suite as primary finance utility, supplemented by MS Office, internal ERP and CRM solutions.
- Familiarity with AI models and agents for finance process optimization.
- Ability to leverage BI tools for analytics and visualization.
People Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure succession planning and capability development.
- Drive engagement and performance culture.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification: CA strongly preferred; ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ MBA (Finance) acceptable.
- 10+ years of experience with exposure to global accounting and tax environments.
- Experience in businesses with topline of INR 100 crore or more.
- Proven ability to scale finance operations and integrate technology.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
