Group Finance Controller & Head of FP&A

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Drive business planning and formulation of financial targets aligned to growth objectives.
• Provide financial and commercial advice to the Board and senior leadership team.
• Monitor effectiveness of financial controls and implement scalable systems and SOPs.
• Manage cash flow and debt within covenants.
• Oversee statutory reporting and compliance across global jurisdictions.

FP&A & Storytelling

• Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario modeling.
• Develop KPI frameworks and real-time dashboards.
• Prepare Board packs with insightful commentary and trend analysis.
• Partner with business heads to translate numbers into actionable insights.

Financial Operations & Compliance

• Oversee group consolidation and multi-entity accounting (IFRS/Ind AS/local GAAP).
• Ensure tax planning and compliance (direct, indirect, transfer pricing, GST, VAT).
• Maintain robust internal controls and manage treasury, liquidity, and FX risk.

Technology & Data

• Implement Zoho suite as primary finance utility, supplemented by MS Office, internal ERP and CRM solutions. 
• Familiarity with AI models and agents for finance process optimization.
• Ability to leverage BI tools for analytics and visualization.

People Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Ensure succession planning and capability development.
• Drive engagement and performance culture.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification: CA strongly preferred; ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ MBA (Finance) acceptable.
• 10+ years of experience with exposure to global accounting and tax environments.
• Experience in businesses with topline of INR 100 crore or more.
• Proven ability to scale finance operations and integrate technology.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
