Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a result driven and qualified Human Resources (HR) Manager, with business partnering skills, to oversee a full spectrum of Human Resources services. Reporting to the Global Human Resources Business Partner - Operations, dotted-line to Site General Manager, the incumbent is responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions at the site, ensuring strong HR operations, workforce stability, and alignment with global HR strategies.
- This role partners closely with site leadership to drive performance, strengthen organizational capability, and build a resilient, high-performing workforce.
The incumbent will:
Business Partnering & Leadership Support
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the Site General Manager and leadership team.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategies.
- Support leaders in decision-making related to performance, engagement, and talent.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Lead manpower planning aligned with production and operational needs.
- Drive recruitment strategies, especially for operators, technicians, and critical roles.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines (including internal mobility across GSO sites).
- Oversee onboarding and integration of new hires.
Performance & Capability Development
- Implement performance management processes and ensure consistency.
- Identify capability gaps and drive training and development initiatives.
- Partner with global teams to deploy leadership development programs.
- Strengthen frontline leadership capability (e.g., supervisors, shift leads, cell leads).
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive engagement initiatives aligned with site needs and global framework.
- Developing and executing engagement action plans.
- Monitor employee sentiment, attrition trends, and address root causes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary cases and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Partner with legal or external stakeholders when required.
- Promote fair and consistent HR practices across the site.
HR Operations & Excellence
- Oversee HR operations including payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting (headcount, attrition, etc.).
- Drive HR process improvements and standardization.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal controls.
Site HR Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the site HR team.
- Build HR capability to act as strong business partners to line managers.
- Drive consistency and quality in HR service delivery.
Change Management & Transformation
- Lead HR initiatives related to transformation, restructuring, or stabilization.
- Support crisis management and recovery plans (e.g., high attrition, ramp-up challenges).
Requirements:
- More than 10 years’ experience in site HR leadership roles supporting about 80 employees’ size, and manufacturing experience is a must,
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM or PHR Certificate.
- Ability to deliver change management programs.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities demonstrate a high competence in organizational decision making.
