Job description

Role Description:


  • The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • This role supports both daily production and long-term manufacturing development initiatives and works closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams at both local and global levels.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team to support production and development initiatives.
  • Make critical decisions related to product quality, including disposition of non-conforming materials and deviations.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering programs, standards, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality management systems.
  • Implement and document corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Guide teams in data collection, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent Manufacturing Engineering in cost reduction, Lean, and Material Review Board activities.
  • Support planning and management of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Manage, train, evaluate, and develop engineering team members.
  • Support contract reviews by identifying manufacturing and quality requirements.
  • Analyze and report manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Champion organizational priorities in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.


Requirements:


Education & Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 7–10 years of overall manufacturing or engineering experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Engineering Management experience.
  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments is highly preferred
