Responsibilities:
Equipment Development, Commissioning and Acceptance
- In order to improve the efficiency for production, Work with process team and vendors to review the design of automation machine or fixtures; qualify and acceptance the new machine; set-up maintenance plan and implementation; improve the mass production machine and fixture to enhance the productivity"
Assembly jigs:
- Evaluate new tool, fixture and equipment demand/cost for new projects;
- Design and review the tool, fixture and equipment with core team members meeting engineering and EHS requirement.
- Upload all tooling prints to data management system( PDMLink, etc.)
- Discuss and review details of tool/fixture/equipment with outside supplier.
- Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new tool/fixture/equipment.
Technical support
- In order to en sure the auto line running smoothly, Provide technical support to manufacturing team during pilot run and production start-up/change over.
Problem Solving
- In order to ensure the production running smoothly, provide support on Problem identification and trouble-shooting with solution for a wide range of complex mechanical problems. Responsible for the effective communication across the company"
Training Guidance:
- Line maintenance/change over together with/guiding the technicians to make sure automation machine run smoothly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation;
- Experience w/ automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture/jig design and trouble-shooting for automation machine;
- Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence/Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices and components selection;
- Robot knowledge will be a plus;
- Interfacing knowledge between mechanical and electrical;
- Familiar with Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawing
- Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
- English skills, able to ready technical materials in English
