Role Description:
- This person will be responsible for Business development & Technical Specifications for Fitout product categories (Tile adhesives, Waterproofing, Resilient flooring & Resin flooring) by working with both Fitout companies, Contractors & Sub-contractors.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in handling larger projects with Fitout cos / contractors & should have worked with consultants for specifications. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction chemicals industry with a strong technical background and business development. He/she should have effective communication and project management skills.
- This role will report to VP-Sales & Marketing (Fitout) in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
1.Business Development
- Develop & expand the fit-out and contractor customer base inline with the Business Plan.
- Understand Industry standard & methods and recommend appropriate products & systems.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product and service improvements.
- Plan & execute trainings & product trials for customers as per their requirements.
2.Specification development:
- Collaborate with consultants to define clear and comprehensive technical product specification.
- Review and refine consultant deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals for the fit-out companies and their sub-contractors.
- Facilitate and undertake technical presentations with consultants.
3.Sales Management
- To deliver a profitable value & volume growth across categories .
- Ensure adherence to the commercial policy
- Track & manage multiple Projects through Project management tools with proper reviews and actions to improve.
Requirements:
Experience
- 8–10+ years in construction chemicals/building materials.
- Strong exposure to fit-out project sales and specification selling.
- Experience handling large projects with fit-out contractors and consultants.
- UAE market experience preferred.
Technical Exposure (Must Have)
- Tile adhesives.
- Waterproofing systems.
- Flooring systems (resilient / resin / coatings).
- Application methods and site troubleshooting.
- Technical submittals and approvals.
