Staff Manufacturing Engineer – Bulk Cable

Responsibilities:

Core / Daily Operations:

• Serve as SME for molding and cable over-molding processes
• Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing parameters and tooling
• Participate in daily operations meetings to resolve process issues quickly
• Ensure processes meet efficiency, quality, and output targets
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, OEE, scrap, and cost using our client methodologies

NPI & Projects:

• Collaborate with Project Managers on New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialization
• Develop cost improvement roadmaps for molding, extrusion, and related technologies
• Perform ROI analysis and track cost savings using our client system
• Support annual cost-saving and productivity targets

Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of 7–9 engineers/technicians
• Build internal expertise in molding and related processes
• Standardize processes and deliver technical training for production and NPI

Technical & Compliance:

• Support design and development of manufacturing tools and equipment
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Stay updated on new molding and automation technologies
• Act as the regional point of contact for molding-related technical issues

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree (automation background) is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years in manufacturing and molding processes
• Strong experience in cable over-molding and extrusion
