Affiliates Management Advisor

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage affiliate Board meetings and Board resolutions. 
• Ensure alignment with the Affiliate, SA stakeholders to protect the interest
• Support in negotiations with stakeholders and partners, and support to manage partner relations on future plans for the affiliates. Leads information gathering and reporting
• Analyze and monitor Affiliates agreements, identify gaps for the implementation, and contact stakeholder to meet the commitments
• Monitor and ensure awareness of Board members of relevant policies/procedures/GIs and Monitor market performance identify best practices across Affiliates portfolio to optimize the businesses

Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Business development experience in developing power related project financing transactions (independent power project (IPPs)) including structuring and negotiation, managing financial, commercial and legal due diligence (From development until financial close)
• Overseeing and monitoring transactions after development 
• Knowledge of risk involved with IPPs and project financing.
• Preferably prior experience with IPPs developers in the market.
• Understanding of project finance financial modelling and relevant financing agreements
• Understanding of relevant contracts involved such offtake agreement, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and O&M Contracts..

Minimum requirements:

• As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance from a recognized and approved program. 
• An advanced degree (MBA) and/or CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is preferred. Bachelor of Arts (Business and Management) or Bachelor of Science (Engineering) would be acceptable for a candidate with the required experience.
