Job description

Responsibilities:


  • The Assistant Manager - Trade Marketing will be responsible for ensuring that the product category strategies are translated into plans and programs to achieve the set objectives. Under the supervision of Trade Marketing Manager, this role will closely coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Distributor teams to come up with agreed category action plans to deliver the desired results and objectives in a timely manner.
  • Drives and monitor the progress of product category management and its related programs and resources.
  • This entails close coordination with various business units – Sales, Brand, Distributor, with the single objective of maximizing returns through excellent execution of brand and trade marketing programs.
  • Develop local marketing strategies and local magic activities aligned with the brand strategy of each category
  • Manage and execute regional activities and promotions aligned with marketing calendar
  • Manage and cultivate brand partnership efforts with other local companies
  • Develop and execute customized trade activities with top accounts
  • Reporting, tracking and reconciliation of FGA, A&P and POSM budget of the country
  • Manage NPD launches, reformulations, restages and other product-related activities
  • Drive & oversee CPR registration and other FDA-related activities


Requirements:


  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly analytical, data-driven and result-oriented
  • Understand business, its dynamics and the levers that allow change to the market especially in Thailand
  • A strong communication skill in English and Thai is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and networking.
  • Candidates who have experience working in FMCG or food or beverages or consumer products only
  • Should have experience in managing distributors
