Assistant Manager PPC

Our client is an integral part of the growth of Flexible packaging industry in South Asia. They create customized and innovative flexible packaging solutions - Milk Film Pouch, Easy Peel Lid Film, Laminates, Shrink and Stretch LD Film and Labels (Shrink and Wrap Around Labels) - across industries ranging from Dairy, Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Personal & Home care, Health & Beauty and more.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Level     :

• Collection of forecast from all Business verticals
• Forecast compilation
• Generation of RM requirement – Manual
• Sourcing planning for the month
• Follow up with central purchase for RM’s
• Monitoring of Sales and Pending SO on daily basis
• Interaction with Plant PPC for daily planning and execution on daily basis
• Follow up with plan PPC/Plant Head for execution of pending orders
• RM planning in case of spike orders in coordination with sales and purchase
• Interaction with sales team regarding pending orders follow up on daily basis
• Short term and long term capacity planning as and when required
• Forecast analysis and MIS to all sales verticals
• Other business value addition MIS ( Historical Data,OTIF for Key customers, Forecast vs Consumption)
• Collection of S&OP ( Sales and Operations Planning ) data from all plants for the last month
• Compilation of S&OP data in coordination with plant PPC/head
• Correction of S&OP data in coordination with plant head/PPC
• Follow up with finance team for inventory and stock details for S&OP
• S&OP PPT Preparation for all Business verticals/Plants for last month
• Organising S&OP schedule & conducting the same.
• Collection of inventory details.
• Compilation of Inventory details and MIS for Inventory Days for Group Wise/Location

Plant:

• Daily review of Sales order punched by sales.
• Daily updating of POS. ( DOD Vs ETD )
• Check the availability of R/M, P/M, Ink & Cylinder for the existing orders and communicated to concern dept.
• Rake the work order and issued printing plan / Production plan on daily basis.
• Daily updating of Lead time details of every jobs.
• Liaison between marketing to production and logistics.
• Execution of planned jobs and prioritize as per sales demand.
• Daily chasing with production to dispatch the material as per commitment to marketing.
• Daily requirement given to purchase for packing material like Corrugated boxes , Cores & card boards.
• Making S & OP data for monthly meeting.
• Follow up with central planning for RM’s.
• Forecast Vs Actual data preparation.

Requirements:

• Education:-BE/BTech, Diploma
• Experience:- 8-12 years
• Should have worked in Production, Planning and Control function 
• Well versed with XL, PPT and decision-making tools.
• Cross functional Interaction and management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork and team building skills.
