Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of Senior Associates and Associates to ensure delivery of services in accordance with SLA and ISAE 3402 processes.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards, review accounting records to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure that financial statements are approved and filed within deadlines.
  • Assist the auditors in their audit field work and liaising with them regarding queries raised with regard to FS finalisation.
  • Assist the tax team in tax computation and tax filing.
  • Review to ensure accuracy: lnvestor Reports, NAV calculation, Investor's portfolio, Capital account statement, income tax, VAT, NPS, PAYE, ROE, TDS, others returns etc as appropriate.
  • Assist in any special/ad hoc assignments, special client or internal projects as may be requested from time to time. E.g cordinating and reviewing surveys, lnternal Reporting, etc.
  • Ensure all client companies are administered in compliance with relevant laws, rules, regulations, constitutive documents, SLA and ISAE 3402 processes, including company policies and procedures.
  • To monitor, assist and give support to staff in maintaining statutory records, perform secretarial duties, compliance control procedures (QCC, administrators compliance report), proper scanning filing and updating information on system.
  • To supervise and review the whole process of meetings (Board/Shareholders/Committee), including sending notices, agenda, board packs, minutes and matters arising. 
  • Ensure deadlines with SLA are met.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required. 
  • Proactively strengthen the relationship with clients to develop rapport and facilitate effective two-way communication between the team.
  • Deal with issues and queries from clients in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Prompt escalation for any issues identified.
  • Train and develop team members to continually improve their performance. 
  • Supervise the team members to ensure they always comply with statutory regulation and company's policy and procedures. 
  • To promote positive attitude and develop team spirit.
  • Assist in the research and implementation of new policies or procedures that can improve the work processes to maximize efficiency. 
  • Participate in Group meetings and share ideas about how to improve the organisation.
  • Work in collaboration with other business units to cross sell other Group services and additional services to clients, coming up with solution to provide effective support.
  • Be committed to excellence and promote efficiency by setting personal example of corporate values (Agility, Pioneering & Excellence). 
  • Show and promote positive attitude.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working experience, including 1 year experience at supervisory level
  • ACCA, ACA, CFA would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written or oral) both in French and English
  • Good relationship management - people and clients
