Job description

Role Description:


  • We are searching for a Manager of Business Development & Sales based in the Netherlands.
  • This newly established role will directly report to the Head of our European operations, who is temporarily assuming the responsibilities of the CEO.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Commercial Development: Devise and execute a robust commercial plan tailored for the Netherlands market.
  • This involves identifying new business prospects, nurturing strategic partnerships, and overseeing the introduction of new services in collaboration with our Product and Marketing teams.
  • Revenue Management: Take ownership of sustaining and expanding revenues from both existing and new clients within the Dutch market.
  • Leverage the unique value propositions of our products and services to drive recurring revenue growth.
  • Relationship Management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders across various management levels through client networks and other pertinent channels.
  • Sales & Relationship Management Approach: Assist in crafting and implementing a structured Relationship Management model for Europe.
  • Ensure consistent engagement with our paying members, including companies and partners, to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Product & Market Development: Cultivate specialized sector-oriented knowledge for our product range.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams: Collaborate closely with our Product Teams, particularly in Membership and Capital Services, to align product propositions and facilitate go-to-market strategies.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and nurture strategic partnerships within the Netherlands, including with banks, corporations, government entities, institutional bodies, and key opinion leaders.
  • Aim to establish our organization as a prominent player in supporting private companies across Europe.
  • Cross-Selling and Revenue Optimization: Coordinate cross-selling initiatives and implement strategies to effectively increase the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).


Requirements:


  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven track record in Sales and Business Development, preferably with a background in Corporate Finance.
  • Agility and Proactivity: Demonstrated ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple demands effectively.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial and relational skills, complemented by an analytical and structured approach to work.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a customer-centric and numbers-driven orientation.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills with a proactive and decisive leadership style.
  • Project Management: Rigorous project management skills, including the ability to leverage internal and external relationships to drive projects forward autonomously.
  • Pan-European Experience: Experience in developing products across multiple geographic locations within Europe is advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English is mandatory. Proficiency in any other European language (e.g., Italian, Spanish, French) is a plus.
  • Employment Details: This position will be hired through an EoR status, with more details provided during the HR interview process.
