Controlling Reporting Leader

Responsibilities:

• Managing Controlling Reporting tasks and oversee period end closing tasks
• Oversee account reconciliation and balance sheet reviews in relation to controlling reporting scope for all in-scope entities. 
• Being a key contact of controlling reporting for a group of countries
• Leading 9 accountant. Managing organization and team workload.
• Managing backup plan and business continuity for the team.
• Ensuring improvement of controlling reporting processes and working closely with DEX team. 
• Responsible for KPIs that are linked to controlling reporting for group of countries.
• Any other ad hoc tasks and projects that are assigned  
• Management Tasks
• Supervise and ensure back-up for Controlling reporting team in charge of transversal tasks: make sure planning are respected, help teams in operational tasks, etc.
• Supervise monthly controlling reporting production and ensure the respect of closing duration 
• Be accountable for controlling reporting KPIs and performance dashboards for the group of countries he / she is in charge of and prepare action plans
• Participate to closing meetings with countries involving divisional controllers and country CFO
• Prepare and participate to steering committees of the group of countries he / she is in charge of 
• Ensure continuous improvement and implement Group guidelines
• Supervise and ensure timely completion of all transactional tasks enabling to close the monthly/quarterly/semester or year-end financial statements:
• Monitor good receipts in the system and chase business departments when necessary
• Review general closing tasks (open/close periods, proceed to Journal entries in Blackline…)
• Monitor technical closing checks (SAP FICO checks, Royalties reconciliation...) & manage system interfaces & reconciliations (SAP-Compass TM1-Magnitude, inter-Compass TM1 modules)
• Oversee transactional closing tasks (POS activation to balance sheet…)
• Oversee closing process in Compass (Upload actuals/Manage allocation of actuals in Compass/Fix blocking controls/Complete indicators/Officialize Budget/Trend scenarios)
• Review the analytical documentation on behalf of the zone countries:
• Review Period closing CFO / Finance Director reporting books (actuals, budget, trends) & associated books (Digital/HR books…)
• Review performance analysis documentation (against budget, target, and/or trend) and run reports 
• Oversee the preparation and publication of monthly actual results as well as publication of Trend/Pre-budget/Budget
• Review the management reporting deck to be presented to divisional controllers and CFO and ensure issues are timely resolved.
• review other group reporting defined in BSC scope. 
• Be a key accounting contact with group and zone controlling team for the entities he/she is in charge of.
• Review account reconciliations and follow up the actions to ensure balance sheet are clean.
• Lead balance sheet reviews with country divisional controllers and country CFOs for entities he/she is in charge of.
• Any other closing and reporting tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in accounting, including manager/supervisor role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and regulations in Asia
• Experience in Finance business partnering and management reporting (especially management P&L reporting)
• Solid knowledge of accounting process and practice, and ERP (SAP) system. 
• Experience of managing a professional accounting team.
• CPA or equivalent is a plus
