Data Specialist

Role Description:

• The Digital Engineer will help RO drive towards achieving supply chain excellence by leveraging its unique data & digital assets through the exploration and exploitation of the digital
• platforms and data sources to build Britain’s best beer & cider company andRO becoming the best “Connected Brewer”.

Responsibilities:

• Drive standardization across all Brewery Operations production sites through ways of working, processes & standards
• Lead innovation projects which generate ideas and drive cost efficiencies, turning these into
• proof of concepts and pilots through to inception and scalability across all production sites to deliver a higher level of data led and digital enhanced transformation to improve operational
• line performance.
• Initiate and embed strong collaborative links between the brewery and D&T team and lead engagements with colleagues from Global Product teams/owners, Centre of Excellences and
• 3rd party partners as required.
• Take Best Practice sharing to the heart of change and implementation for new solutions (digital & data).
• Deliver training packages of the new innovations and digital tools to various teams and groups ranging in competency.
• Mentor other members of the local brewery team, providing technical, technique, experience and problem-solving guidance whilst acting as a sounding board for approach and data/digital queries.
• Be connected to the latest innovation and technologies both inside and outside of our industry to anticipate future requirements and support digital transformation strategy to remain ahead of the competition.
• Data exploited to the benefit of Brewery Operations & Supply Chain
• Positive engagement with the wider business community on data & digital topics with positive and formal feedback sought.
• Develop data & digital proof of concepts and pilots.
• Learnings from deployments of new innovation projects, captured and shared learnings, adding to the continuous improvement within BrewOps.
• Engagement with Global teams and communities
• Other team members supported and developed – technical skills, knowledge expanded and
• confidence grown.
• Positive feedback from Heads of Department, production site leadership team’s, users of data & digital platforms, TPM community and Global Product Owners.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in Data Management
• Sharepoint experience is a must
