Over 6,000 steam turbines supplied by our client have been installed across 20 industries in over 75 countries, including Europe, Africa, Central & Latin America, SE Asian and SAARC countries.


Job description

Role Description:


  • This role is responsible for implementing the sales strategies for API drive turbine business.
  • Responsible for Inquiry generation and support in market penetration ( in segments like refineries petrochemical, fertilizer and chemical plants) for domestic market and close sales leads to generate revenue for the company as per the assigned targets.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for achievement of API sales targets through.
  • Inquiry generation (on time reporting, Update inquiry status in SFDC).
  • Visiting prospects, Consultants, EPC & end clients (refineries petrochemical, fertilizer and chemical plants).
  • Access and check tender portal at regular intervals.
  • Proposal preparation including thermal calculations for selection of turbines.
  • Preparation of cost estimates and commercial offer.
  • Participate in the technical & commercial negotiations for closing the order.
  • Advance Bank Guarantee submission and collection of advance payment.
  • Support in maintaining healthy market share.


Responsible for smooth transition of order to projects department through


  • Timely issual of order transmittals through Primavera / SAP.
  • Techno commercial clarifications on proposals including customer visits.
  • Ensure kick off meeting along with Internal cross functional teams.
  • Assistance to Projects team during the course of execution.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction by providing timely market feedback and relevant information to internal stake holders for timely action.
  • Participate along with marketing team in exhibitions and conduct seminars etc.


Requirements:


  • EDUCATION : Graduation in Engineer Mechanical.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 10 years with experience in capital goods industry. Experience in Oil & Gas industry required.
  • KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge on Rotating Equipment ( preferably drive turbines / capital goods.
  • Strong Project Sales
  • Knowledge of Project business (Oil & Gas).
  • Knowledge of Industry trends, emerging market trends, Customer behavior/expectations, competitor overview.
  • Techno-commercial understanding of solution / product portfolio.
