Desiccant Dryer Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Complete all aspects of mechanical design for existing designs and next generation designs (New product development).
• Structural, Plumbing, Components, Siting and installation kits.
• Release of Bills of Materials, Assembly Drawings.
• Resolution of early identified failure modes.
• Reliability growth.
• Continuous improvement cost reduction.
• The position is responsible to manage risks mitigation, do detailed problem solving (for NCR management), change management (ECN/DCN based on FRACAS), Vendor/Supplier Development with all necessary technical support and Support to Production and Testing Teams at factory.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E.(Mechanical) With 4 to 10yrs of experience in total and minimum 3 to 6yrs of experience preferably in Designing of Desiccant Dryers (Heatless) or Pressure Swing type Absorption Dryers ;
• Hands on experience in Solidworks is mandatory.

Mandatory Skills

• Exposure to design of Dryers
• Worked on manufacturing, erection/commissioning activities.
• Worked on heat and mass balance calculations, system design calculations.
• Able to develop design concepts and engineering solutions on Solidworks, PRO E, CATIA or other 3D design tools; Good exposure to GD&T, Good at defining standard drawing practices
• Worked with Systematic Problem-Solving approach using 8D, A3, 5 Why tools for all FRACAS and RISKS.
