Design Quality

Responsibilities:

• To validate the form, shape and highlights.
• Freeze gap and flush values.
• Part by part Creation on EAAR.
• Converge design to engineering.
• Bench mark study & proposals.
• Finalise color, grain and texture with C&M designer. 
• Draft angle analysis to achieve good aspect.
• Discussion & Negotiation with supplier, CDMM & grainer for Digital grain mapping sign off.
• Monitor & delivery of project delivarables.
• To validate shape / Volume / highlights on all class A physical parts based on Class A release.
• Shape & cavity validation (Plastic & Metal).
• Discuss with grainer for better texture reachability and aspect.
• To validate physical grain mapping, Cavity validaiton & provide Graining go ahead.
• To validate Grain, Color, gloss & aspect.
• Seats validation
• Vehicle Pre harmony & harmony validation
• Maintenance & Calibration of masters
• Calibration of Equipments
• Bench mark study & proposals.
• Support for color homologation.

Requirements:

• Good Eye vision and good knowledge of design execution.
• Excellent skill on Catia, TC, Alias basic Good Stamping, Tooling, Injection, painting & Assy process knowledge.
• Basic skill on A2mac, Benchmark software.
• MS Office with Exctl. presentation skill
• Exctl. communication skill with team and suppliers.
• Good planning and organising skill. 
• Good problem-solving skill.
• Good Team work skill.
• 10+ Years relevant design background in automotive field.
