Responsibilities:
- Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks (including radio frequency communications)
- Meticulous attention to detail and a forensic approach to challenges
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of automotive systems
- Introduces new Cybersecurity development process based on ISO21434 as an extension to our baseline process
- Comfortable using software engineering tools such as requirements handling tools, and issue and task handling tools, penetration testing tools and TARA generation tools.
Requirements:
- A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors’ Degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters’ Degree) or a higher-level degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Doctorate Degree).
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Specific Responsibilities
- Developing cybersecure embedded hardware and software solutions including the consideration of R.F. protocols
- Developing a cybersecurity process based on ISO21434 and fostering a cybersecurity compliance culture
- Supporting some aspects of the product life-cycle, from initial cybersecurity requirements capture, architectural design, coding design, implementation, penetration testing, and maintenance of the product in the field
- Developing proof-of-concept demonstrations to customers and development partners
Specific Experience / Qualifications
Essential
- At least 4 years’ industrial experience in a cybersecuity design role.
- Working or practical experience generating or following TARA/VARA exercises
- Ability to code in a high-level scripting language
- Understanding and experience of the software development toolchain: Requirements capture tools, bug/issue tracking tools, documentation tools
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and deliver results
- Knowledge and experience of cybersecurity methods within an automotive environment
Desirable
- Experience of attack trees, threat modelling and threat intelligence analysis
- Familiarity with exploit platforms for penetration testing
- Working knowledge of ISO21434 or J3061
