Job description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with battery OEM for vendor evaluation and techno commercial comparison.
- Battery Sizing for different applications of grid connected projects based on duty cycles, round trip efficiency.
- Comparison of different battery technologies and selecting right technology according to application.
- Preparation of flow diagram for EMS design.
- Coordinate with vendors for HVAC & Fire Suppression system design.
- Preparation of optimized container layouts for battery housing.
- Defining quality parameters for battery FAT.
- Preparation of Technical Proposals for bid submission.
- Derivation of Bill Of Material and Cost Estimation of BESS project.
- Coordination with internal external stakeholders for bis Submission.
- Preparation of RFPs for battery storage project components.
- Performance Monitoring and troubleshooting of operational BESS projects.
- Coordination with all stakeholders for project execution.
Requirements:
- Experience of using Fractal, Homer, sizing tool, etc to size considering standalone and RTC projects requirements.
- Understanding of communication protocol and control logics between BMS, PCS And EMS.
- Knowledge of logics to be build for various application for programming EMS.
- Minimum four years relevant experience in Energy Storage.
- Education : B.Tech /M.Tech
- In depth knowledge of different battery technology like Li-ion, flow battery, and futuristic long duration storage technology for large grid connected BESS applications
