Energy Systems Modeler (Relocation Opportunity)

Are you an experienced Energy System Modeler? Our client is seeking a talented and skilled professional to join their Transport Technologies R&D Division.

As an Energy System Modeler, you will play a critical role in developing innovative research and policy analysis to enhance our client's research capabilities in transport technologies. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to provide technical expertise and strategic insights.

Your duties will include developing robust methodologies and modelling frameworks, analysing energy and technology pathways, identifying and analysing trends and developments in the transport sector, and supporting ongoing research projects within the division.

To be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline and at least 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of five years as a recognized specialist in transport analysis and/or energy systems modelling. You should also have hands-on experience with computer programming, using common platforms such as MATLAB, Python, R, VBA, etc.
