Finance Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst

Our client operates in the Telecoms Equipment Semiconductors Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in the United States. It has branches spread to more than 30 countries, providing employment to more than 45,000 people all over the world. They fall in the Fortune 500 Companies. Their core business is designing and manufacturing semiconductors. They believe in driving digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and quality financial planning and reporting.
• Actual vs prior month / Budget / Outlook variance analysis for Operation departmental cost centres spending and identify areas of opportunity for cost improvement.
• Financial planning and analysis (month end close, quarterly forecast and yearly budget).
• Production scrap reporting and analysis.
• Process improvement and KPI monitoring.
• Reconcile financial trackers for key projects to Salesforce and Demantra forecasting system, following up with sales and marketing as necessary
• Monitor KPIs to track businesses performance and support the ongoing development of KPI reporting that is fit for purpose and helps drive commercial decision making
• Support alignment with program management on project spend analyses to aid portfolio level expenditure decisions
• Reconcile financial trackers for key projects to Salesforce and Demantra forecasting system, following up with sales and marketing as necessary

Requirements:

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to manage and appropriately prioritise multiple tasks/projects
• Strong Excel skills (ideally including Excel’s Powersuite) are a must ideally with evidence of being able to work with larger datasets as well as being able to produce lightweight analyses on the fly to support decision making.
• Being able to prepare and communicate financial information effectively to a non-finance audience is essential.
