Role Description:
- Are you interested in joining a rapidly expanding renewable energy enterprise? We are currently seeking an Accounting Professional to join our team, responsible for ensuring accurate reporting and financial statements for a selection of our Danish subsidiaries.
- As part of our Record to Report (R2R) division within the Finance Shared Services, you will report to the Head of Accounting R2R for Other Countries within our organization. This role is based in Denmark, with our team situated in Kolding.
- The Accounting R2R function plays a vital role in offering accounting expertise across our client, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.
- As an expert in both IFRS and local GAAPs, you will handle postings, financial closures, external audits, financial statement preparation, and serve as the point of contact for external auditors.
- In this role, you will be closely integrated into our dynamic renewable energy business, where our Wind division is experiencing substantial growth in Offshore and Onshore projects. Your responsibilities will involve supporting this expansion alongside your colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate delivery of Actual financial data.
- Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (IFRS and Danish GAAP).
- Collaborating with business units on accounting matters.
- Facilitating daily accounting support for various business units.
- Nurturing positive relationships and providing excellent service to internal clients.
- Coordinating with external service providers, such as Capgemini.
- Overseeing the financial well-being of selected entities, including balance sheet reviews.
- Managing audit processes for legal entities.
- Proposing process enhancements and contributing to their implementation.
- Maintaining internal controls.
- Participation in development initiatives.

Requirements:
- We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller, ideally residing near the Kolding area, with the following attributes:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Profound comprehension of accounting regulations (IFRS and Danish accounting rules)
- Relevant degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent specialized training
- Possibly an auditing background with seniority
- 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant Finance operations roles
- Strong familiarity with Finance processes and systems; training will be provided for SAP
- Proficient in Excel; Danish language proficiency required, along with professional English
