About the Client:
Our client is a fast-growing, global
Retail AI solution provider. Foretailers like ASOS, H&M, Rakuten, Zalora,
Meesho, DFS, and EyeBuyDirect trust to power their product discovery.
To help us build upon our success, we are looking for a self-starter and
experienced FP&A (Financial Planning &
Analysis) Manager, with the strong ability in driving strategic
initiatives and influencing business stakeholders to join our Global Finance
team, reporting to the Head of Finance, Legal and Governance.
As a FP&A Manager, you
will be a trusted advisor to both functional leaders and executives, and the
ability to thrive in a dynamic, flat fluid environment is key. Sheer tenacity,
drive and a results-driven attitude is paramount to being successful. A mix of
competencies is required; this person should be able to think strategically
about business, have technical finance, analytical competencies and demonstrate
collaborative leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Leverage on business and market insights,
collaborate with supported business teams/ leadership to build, maintain,
and continuously evolve financial models and forecasts to evaluate,
includes and not limited, to business options, product launches and other
strategic deliverables
Insightful analysis as the foundation for
strategic decision-making, resource allocation and performance management
Tools, analytical capability and data to
support thoughtful planning and target setting, as well as to drive
business initiatives
Develop financial & non-financial
dashboards and key metrics, to be standardised across all markets
Keep a pulse on the health of the business in
close partnership with leaders across functions, while analysing key
financial and non-financial metrics
Synthesize and effectively communicate key
financial and business findings to key stakeholders and influence
executive and business decision making to improve performance and capture
new business opportunities
Facilitating and driving all business
performance monitoring across business, which includes and not
limited to consolidation business review processes, identifying key
insights and enhancing review process
Identify and implement process enhancements
for FP&A activities such as improving efficiencies of forecasting
processes and tools
Develop an operating and financial plan around
managements strategic plan
Driving and executing all monthly, quarterly financial, management and investor related reportings
Lead, drive and support business leaders of
all quarterly forecasts, annual plans & budgeting (annual & mid
year), strategic plans, board presentations (pre and post) for review with
leadership - ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality
Support in key business/ investor related
presentations, scenario planning, analysis as per requested by leadership/
stakeholders etc
Co-own/ support finance transformation projects
Requirements:
Chartered Accountant/ CPA or equivalent; MBA
Finance (advantageous)
3-6 years of FP&A experience within a
global / regional business environment
Role Experience - you bring at least 3+ years
of FP&A experience within a global/ regional business environment
gained in a technology industry, B2B SaaS will be advantageous and
preferably in a fast-paced environment and high-growth tech startups
Demonstrate excellent skills in financial
modelling, business analysis, and managing multiple stakeholders under
significant pressure and tight deadlines
Strong quantitative and analytical skills,
practical and solution-oriented leader
Business and data sensitivity; business
intelligence experience is a plus.
Highly proficient on Microsoft Excel/
spreadsheets (you know why Index/Match is better than a vlookup) and
PowerPoint tools. Prior experience in Netsuite and proficiency in
analytical tools e.g. Power BI or Tableau is a plus
