Functional Analyst

The Role:

• To support our client's digital transformation project, for their products within the Adsolut suite, we are looking for a Functional Analyst who can take our client's products to the next level by developing new functionalities for our tools. 
• You work together with a team of 10 colleagues.
• You can work from our client's offices in Hasselt, Mechelen or Ghent in combination with flexible working from home options (up to 60%).

Responsibilities:

• You are part of an Agile team where timely delivery of quality software is central.
• You focus on one running project and you are also involved in new initiatives.
• You master the jargon and further expand your knowledge within our division. 
• You get to know our client's customers and how their software helps them work more efficiently every day.
• You create the necessary analysis models based on requirements.
• You present the analysis deliverables to the development team and substantiate them with the necessary arguments.
• You discuss the technical limitations with the internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, back-office, service desk, ...)
• You enjoy communicating and building strong relationships with various internal stakeholders.
• You are convincing and can convey your ideas smoothly, clearly and in a structured manner to your colleagues. 

Requirements:

• You have a Bachelor's degree and you are fascinated by IT.
• You can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position as an Analyst.
• You are familiar with traditional analysis methodologies and can apply them in an Agile development context. 
• Knowledge of the basic principles of testing and Rest APIs is a plus.
• Thanks to your technical background, you can easily translate technical matters and limitations of software and you can concretize abstract tasks.
• You are a proactive communicator.
• Just like your colleagues, you enjoy working together in a team and strive to achieve results together.
• You speak fluent Dutch and can also communicate fluently in English.
