Responsibilities:

• You will be a trend setter and the subject matter expert in Warehousing and E2E logistics related products and services categories, developing Global Strategic Procurement plan by interacting with key partners, analyzing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies.
• You will execute Global and regional strategies by engaging with internal cross-functional partners, establishing relationships with external suppliers and industry professionals while adhering to current processes and recommending improvements to standard processes, focusing on cost improvement and quality, and service levels.
• Prepare and finalize tender specification documents, aligning with each region on specific requirements.
• Explore for cost improvement opportunities having a 360 overview in logistics including air, ocean, overland, WH and distribution projects. 
• Supervise and track onboarding of new suppliers
• Prepare monthly budget and efficiency reports.
• Understand management accounts including the ability to assess business unit level cost and performance drivers
• Assist procurement function in handling vendors to ensure service reliability, continuous improvement initiatives and & analysis of metrics of supplier performance.

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in Management, Supply Chain management or Logistics.
• Fluent in English both written and oral.
• Proven ability in procurement (7-10 years’ experience).
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement of warehousing and logistics services (air, ocean, overland).ax
• Deep understanding of pricing and pricing models in different geographies/markets (global markets).
• Bid-management experience & contracting experience (including KPI setting and measurement).
• Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and fantastic negotiation skills.
