Our Client operates in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Switzerland. It has its branches spread to more than 29 countries, providing employment to more than 2,000 people all over the world. Their core business is to develop and manufacture Vacuum Valves and other products related to it.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with the Head of Departments (HoD) to develop and execute innovative HR strategies aligned with the company's and global business goals.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of skilled professionals.
- Implement data-driven people strategies and solutions that support business-specific objectives.
- Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation. Forming strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment.
Talent Management:
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to identify key talent needs and develop effective strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining high-potential employees.
- Implement talent review processes, succession planning, and leadership development programs to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Lead talent review and calibration to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed. Ensures the implementation of succession planning and talent management plans supports the business goals.
Organizational Development:
- Assess and enhance organizational effectiveness, culture, and employee engagement.
- Lead initiatives to drive positive organizational change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Organizational Design & Development: Challenges the organizational structure, proposes improvements and ensures smooth organizational transitions using best practice change management methodologies.
Engagement and Collaboration:
- Foster engagement both on the Operations as well as on the HR perimeter and reinforce continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between global HR teams and the Operations Teams for consistency and alignment of HR strategies.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and their managers through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation. Promote and foster a culture and environment that supports productivity, empowerment, feedback and recognition.
Leadership of HR Business Partners:
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to the HR team.
- Establish common HR roadmap and priorities to support the Operations’ main challenges.
- Lead and develop a diverse and high-performing team with a focus on talent growth and coaching to success.
Employee Relations and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA):
- Connect with all level of employees to understand the concerns and issues faced at the grassroots level
- Manage the employee relations issue including ensuring compliance to labor regulations, RBA and adherence to the company policies and guidelines.
Others:
- Where necessary, work on projects to aid continuous improvement and implement improvements (e.g. changes to guidelines, policies, continuous improvement projects).
Requirements:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing or related technical industries.
- Global HR experience with an understanding of cultural nuances and diverse employment practices.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, facilitation, coaching and negotiation skills.
- Results focus (demonstrating performance, risk taking, and can do attitude.
