IATF Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Mandatory review based on approval CRS
• Audit plan preparation based on confirmed mandate calculation and deliver the audit plan timely to the customer
• Discuss with client on the readiness review details
• Travel approval application if outstation and overseas travel
• Perform audit as per confirmed schedule
• Provide final audit report timely
• Follow up with the client on the nonconformity closure and project submission.
• Key in services report timely in SAP
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Effective communication with client for any outstanding issues related to the projects.
• Work together with technical support on reply of certifier comments and monitor project closure.
• Improving the stability and robustness of management systems
• Gathering objective evidence through observation, interviewing and sampling of documents
• Reporting findings accurately against the requirements of IATF 16949:2016
• Auditing the effective implementation of quality system processes, including Customer Oriented Processes (COPs)
• Planning, conducting and reporting internal audits

Requirements:

• Qualified third party auditor with certification body (optional)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in manufacturing with 2nd party auditing experience. 
• Remark for IATF 16949 auditor is minimum four (4) years full time appropriate practical experience (including two (2) years dedicated to Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management activities) within the past fifteen (15) years in an automotive manufacturing organization
• Understand the automotive approach for performing an audit, including risk-based thinking.
• Understand customer-specific requirements.
• Understand both ISO 19001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements related to the scope of the audit.
• Understand core tool requirements related to the scope of the audit.
• Understand how to plan, conduct, report, and close out an audit.
