IT Risk Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Leads communication on risk assessment findings to team owners and custodians of information risk “business partners,” or information governance teams and information security teams.
• Handles implementation of appropriate controls to effectively manage information risks as needed.
• Develops opportunities to improve risk posture, assists developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
• Supports the maintenance of the Information Asset Register and the Physical Asset Database
• Develops user training and testing programs
• Leads management controls and committees and contributes to Cyber Risk logs and KPI
• Maintains strong working relationships with individuals and groups involved in managing information risks across the organization.

Requirements:

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
