Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead/apply all safety and food safety policies and procedures across his team
• Develops and implements a preventive maintenance plan and undertakes any amendment to the plan if necessary, with the right communication to the relevant parties to optimize equipment reliability and ensure the availability of required spare parts across his scope of work.
• Common responsibility with the technical Manager to follow up the performance and delivery of the third- party service providers and subcontractors that are required for on-site maintenance to ensure compliance with all applicable productivity, environmental and safety regulations during the performance of the plant maintenance activities.
• Participate in the selection of the new machines, lines and equipment for the plant production lines and provide support in cost saving programs.
• Develops service level agreements with internal customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and develops annual maintenance budget to obtain approval and monitors the expenditures against the set budget.
• Responsible for the efficient maintenance of all equipment; as well as ensures the continuous induction of the Moral and Motivation initiatives to ensure a highly productive and motivated team.
• Monitors equipment performance and develops corrective action plans to reverse any deviation against agreed standards and develops the proper control procedures for it.
• Responsible for the financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures, variances and initiating corrective actions.

• Actively support and participates in EHS and OFS Incident Elimination processes (DMS and the DDS) and providing one on one coaching and feedback to employees.
• Performs daily Safety Seven and G6 walks and Behaviour observation according to the plan
• Ensure the provision of resources and compliance with Company key EHS and OFS program requirements and support the implementation of corrective actions to ensure that employees understand and comply with the procedures required for each program
• Provides oversight to EHS and QFS action plan prioritization and implementation and assures the appropriate resources are available to enable success

Requirements:

• B.Sc in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).
• Communication Skills, Planning & Organizing, Results Orientation, Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, Accuracy & Attention to Detail and Time Management
• 10 to 12 years of working experience
• 5 years of experience in a managerial role
