Role Description:


Are you passionate about trading risk management in the energy sector? Are you looking to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding team in the heart of global trading? We have an exciting opportunity for a Market Risk Analyst to join the team of our esteemed client, a leading trading company based in multiple international locations.


As a Market Risk Analyst with our client, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and growth of their trading operations.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Defining and maintaining product control processes and methodologies.
  • Overseeing the production and issuance of product control metrics and reports.
  • Managing daily P/L and position reports.
  • Leading forward curve methodology for Mark-to-Market pricing and back testing.
  • Recommending changes in existing methodologies.
  • Monitoring open exposures and ensuring compliance.
  • Staying informed about product control best practices and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating on other miscellaneous duties as needed.


Requirements:


  • Degree qualified.
  • Relevant work experience in trading risk management.
  • Strong financial and valuation analysis experience.
  • Expert knowledge and application of decision analysis, statistical modeling, and risk control models.
  • Sound understanding of commodity trading business.
