Job description

Responsibilities:


Roll out and ensure operational monitoring of the regional medical strategy: 


  • Implement an action plan in line with the medical visiting plan
  • Organize events involving health professionals in conjunction with medical relations
  • Be a creative force for implementing communication and event-related materials
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative dashboards: interpreting results, circulating information, implementing corrective action and following up on activity
  • Allocate resources while optimizing ROI - Ensure synergy with commercial teams to increase sell-out
  • Responsible for meeting the sales target quotas for the medical team (Sell In)
  • Manage and drive the team in line with medical detailing’s strategy of excellence:
  • Organize, coordinate, manage and motivate the team
  • Guide professional development / monitoring of medical representatives: continuous assessment of scientific, product and regulatory knowledge and proficiency in communication techniques and tools (CRM/CLM platform)
  • Monitor and drive the teams’ sectorial action plans


Develop local medical relations:


  • Identify local KOLs and propose them to Medical Relations, professional relations with KOLs and institutional partners
  • Coordinate organization of, and participation in congresses and symposia in the scope.


Ensure links and collaboration with headquarter-based teams (marketing, medical relations, sales, digital, etc.):


  • Ensure competitive and environmental monitoring related to medical activity and feed it back up to medical hub team. 
  • Ensure training and respect of both internal and external ethical standards regarding relations with health professionals


Requirements:


Medical Detailing Skills: 


  • Pharmaceutical background preferably with dermatology experience. 
  • Targeting and segmentation follow-up 
  • Builds an interactive and customized dialogue with the physician 
  • Treats objections, obtains prescriptions 
  • Creates and updates the physician’s file 


Scientific Knowledge:


  • Knows skin and hair physio-pathologies and the medical environment 
  • Knows our products and competition (formulas and patients benefits) 
  • Develops one’s local medical network 
  • Knows regulatory constraints
  • People management skills preferably know how to manage managers. 


Entrepreneurship on one's Territory:


  • Analyzes key performance indicators on one’s territory 
  • Implements and adjusts sectoral action plan 
  • Interacts with the Sales Rep(s) to build synergies 
  • Develops Rx counter training in the point of sales 


Collaborative Brand & Team Building:


  • Develops competitive intelligence 
  • Focuses on brand Must Have projects according to the country strategy 
  • Participates in prospective task forces


Personal Compentencies:


  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • People management skills preferably as a second line manager
  • Key account management
