Operation Director / Manager

Role Description:

• Job Title : Operations Director
• Division / Department : Packaging
• The Operations Director's objective is to ensure that the packaging facility operates efficiently, effectively, and safely to meet customer demand and quality standards, while also maximizing profitability and minimizing waste.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the packaging facility.
• Manage production schedules and ensure that products are manufactured to meet customer demand and quality standards.
• Oversee the implementation of safety and environmental policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage the budget for the operations department, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost control measures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage a team of employees, including providing training and development opportunities and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure that production goals are aligned with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience
• Distinction between the various types of packaging – flexo, corrugated or folding
