We are seeking a Portfolio and Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of project and program delivery. You will work closely with the PMO Team to build on best practices and combine standard methodologies to run a world-class delivery machine tailored to our startup mindset.
As the Portfolio and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining project management standards, processes, templates, and procedures. You will also support the project/programme managers in maintaining and reporting project finances and ensure the completeness and regular maintenance of project plans.
To be successful in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience supporting project delivery, ideally in a digital industry/area of delivery. You should have a thorough understanding of project management fundamentals and business management systems and be proficient in project management methods, principles, techniques, and tools. Additionally, you should have a proven understanding of financial management within a program/project/DevOps delivery capability.
Other requirements for this role include strong working knowledge of project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be capable of working with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, and have strong presentation, training, and client-facing skills. You should also be self-motivated, proactive, and have a high level of attention to detail.
