Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the production of assigned products inline with production schedule, product quality, provide supervision for direct loading to attain correct SKU.
• Minimize waste in operation to achieve RMU/PMU target by closely supervise subordinate and correct data for analyze to reduce waste in system.
• Implement short and to a lesser degree long range improvement programs consistent with plant objectives.
• Closely supervises and trains subordinate to achieve an effective production team, strengthens operator skills to enable them to perform more than one task.
• Closely co-ordinate with technicians to ensure all of equipment and facilities meet target preventive maintenance to prevent loses time from poor preventive maintenance.
• Make sure that all production parameters SOP, Food Safety, HACCP GMP principles are effectively followed by production crews to reduce B,C defects to agree level.
• Lead safety awareness within production crew to prevent injury and loss time.
• Implement and maintains focused team environment with all employees to enable them toward self discipline.
• Incumbent must have the ability work in conditions that include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedule and specific time constraints. Position will require time on all rosters and weekend work from time to time. Ability to use PC in a requirement of this position.

Requirements:

• This position typically requires a university degree in Food, Technology food Science, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• related field plus minimum 2-3 year at related work experience to effectively perform the duties of the incumbent
• this position requires extensive knowledge of all production in the plant and a general knowledge of all the supporting department function the incumbent must be technically oriented in the areas of production equipment concepts and food technology.
