Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 2D and 3D volumetric resource assessments.
• Integrate multidisciplinary data to assess hydrocarbon resources.
• Map fluid surfaces and distribution.
• Run data analysis and data quality validation throughout different property modeling workflows
• Conduct geostatistical analyses to be utilized in 3D modelling.
• QC and validate 3D static models and relevant outputs.
• Apply the latest technology and efficient workflows to generate resource assessment work process.
• Collaborate with resource petrophysicists, geoscientists and engineers to conduct accurate assessments.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of 3D modeling processes.
• Train, mentor and develop the young professionals on relevant skills .

Requirements

• As a successful candidate, you should have a Bachelor Degree in Geosciences or related field (e.g., Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics or other related science and engineering fields).
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience.
• At least 5-10 years of professional experience in 3D static modeling. Experience in resource assessment related studies is desirable.
• You should also have skills modeling software packages such as Petrel, Openworks, Gocad, RMS.
