SAP FICO Specialist

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• You will facilitate business process reviews to gather expected business outcomes and functional requirements, document end-to-end processes and business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and create the configuration rationale to design and configure SAP (S4/Hana, Concur, Ariba) applications.
• you will be working with with the SAP S4/Hana development team to unit test and deliver its applications by defining and documenting reusable test scenarios, building unit test cases and creating data for unit testing as needed; participate in design and execution of system, integration and performance testing.
• You will support the Finance department as a business partner with expert SAP knowledge as they initiate operating improvements.
• Analyze the as-is and to-be processes and bridge the gap between digital technologies and the business needs.
• Maintain SOX compliance in all delivered solutions and methods of delivery used.
• Provide risk analysis to business partners for proposed solutions, and mitigation options when available.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with coordination of and provide support to internal audits and ensure adequate and timely follow-up.
• Support the Governance, Risk and Controlling throughout the group.
• Perform periodical tasks relating to the function (reconciliation, reporting, and review)
• Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit
• Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree program in Management Information Technology, or Financial Accounting is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive technical system experience in large-scale SAP S4/Hana deployment, support and/or upgrade projects.
• Experience in defining, implementing and maintaining a GRC framework within a diverse business environment.
• Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making with senior management.
• Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, be a quick study, able to learn, retain and teach others new technology as it is introduced in the industry.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong analytical skills, both research and data analysis
• An understanding of governance planning and monitoring
• An understanding of risk management frameworks, identifying and managing risk and related controls.
