SCM Lead

Responsibilities:

• Support the category leads with sourcing activities, e.g.
• Advanced spend analytics
• Work with engineering to create RFP packages, managing process and conducting RFQs with suppliers
• Manage price changes with suppliers based on defined indices, define indices where not available
• Aid in getting contracts completed for suppliers
• Support category managers with preparation to drive high quality and fact-based negotiations
• Deploy category strategy across the business units and sites
• New product introduction (NPI) sourcing support
• Lead or co-ordinate project execution for productivity projects (localization, transfers, resource) working cross functionally and with global stakeholders
• Drive supply market research (e.g., market structure, behavior, barriers to entry) and track and update key market indices
• Assess suppliers within spend categories, including risk level
• Assess demand and spend across our client Business Units and geographies
• Support and work with Initiative Owners to manage the stage gate process to ensure initiative execution, ensure tracking and reporting of value capture

Requirements:

• 4-7 years’ experience
• MBA preferred Engineering graduate
• Experience of working in a global environment (company)
• Project management experience
