Senior Cloud Architect

The Role:

• We are searching for a Senior Cloud Architect to join our Scandinavian Cloud architecture team. 
• Operating in an agile environment using Scrum and SAFe methodology, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our product teams in both implementation and architecture. 
• As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will take on a coaching role for junior team members or senior team members with less cloud experience. 
• Working collaboratively with our architect team, you will contribute to crafting the overall architecture for new initiatives, products, and services. 
• Given our international presence, you will also engage in collaboration with European colleagues.
• As a key member of our small and competent team with ownership of the Scandinavian architecture, you will work on a greenfield, presenting exciting opportunities to make a significant impact by influencing the selection of the latest technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design solutions aligned with business needs, identifying, assessing, and selecting the most appropriate technologies, architectural styles, and patterns.
• Ensure the consideration and addressing of non-functional requirements, environmental factors, and technology constraints in solution design.
• Guide and lead architectural decisions related to security principles, processes, and controls.
• Actively contribute to the architectural runway.
• Proactively collaborate with architectural teammates to define technology roadmaps.
• Build strong relationships with Product Managers, Architects, User Experience Designers, and Product Owners.
• Provide support for security audits from customers.

Requirements:

• Cloud Application and API security architecture.
• Experience in back-end technologies using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Deep knowledge and several years of experience in Cloud development and architecture.
• Extensive experience with Azure.
• Proficiency in delivery pipelines, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Cloud Architecture patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with Cloud Application security best practices.
• Team player with a preference for collaborative work.
• Embrace the concept of "You build it, you run it."
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a similar relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
