Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Management of Classroom Technology Unit with faculty business partner. 
• Provide strategic operational and staff planning, ensure all classroom support services meet the expected Service Level Agreement.
• Regular feedback to CIT management on operational and manpower resources matters relating classroom shared services. 
• Engage with stakeholder and faculties on a regular basis on support services and classroom technology initiatives.
• Proposing of AV / IT classroom solutions for to improve student learning experiences
• Manage learning space initiatives and upgrading projects independently or with Faculties Business Partners.
• Formulate procedural documents, technical specification, good practices documentation, survey report, maintaining learning space website when necessary.
• Oversee and monitor campus wide classroom equipment maintenance plan.  
• Plan for staff development and training programme for staff.
• Collaborate with Shared Services team to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve critical technical issues in teaching space during semester.
• Manage project or event with business partner or with external vendor and support Digital Assessment in Faculties.

Requirements:

• Degree in Audio Visual Technology or Information Technology equivalent. 
• Possess good project management skill.
• Strong knowledge in Classroom learning technology and user support.
• Understand and experience in user support ticketing system like Remedy etc 
• Experience in videoconferencing system including Zoom Room, Cisco system etc
• Knowledge in hybrid-teaching user support.
• Understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, IT tech products and classroom software.Knowledge in IT skill like Power BI, power automate, Microsoft Forms added advantage etc
• Minimum with 3 years of management experience in the field of Audio-Video technologies or AV user support services.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with user support experience.
• Able to lead a team and ability to work independently.
• Good communications skill and able to communicate with various level of users.
