Job description
Responsibilities:
Inverter Evaluation:
- Document and standardize data and metrics generation/verification procedures and Processes
- Work with OEMs, to technically evaluate various central and string inverters.
- Providing technical advisory services to clients and various internal stakeholders. Provide Technical support for tendering
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communication with staff; providing customer feedback
- Lead and conduct internal failure analysis and the RCA process, working closely with Operations and Asset Management personnel
- Develop solutions to component problems pertaining to design details, manufacturing and supplier details, and parts and sub-component considerations
- Review safety and quality aspects of component repair and replacement as necessary
- Preparing reports/Technical Notes/ presentations/Procedures for Inverters, benchmarking reports against all products
- Act as point of first reference for all Inverter related enquiries and work collaboratively with service/maintenance colleagues in Clinical Research and Regulatory to address any issues that may arise
- Responsible to maintain individual plant MTTR, MTBF and UP time guarantee as committed through PAN India service team
Grid Impact Study:
- Responsible for scope finalisation of Grid impact studies of Solar PV plant
- Need to manage consultants and clients for any queries related to grid impact studies
- Co-ordination with regulatory authorities for meeting grid code compliances & getting final approval
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of deep understanding of Solar Inverters, bidirectional Inverters, SVG/Capacitor bank domain & demonstrated results.
- Candidate should have a flair for technology, new innovations & handle grid impact studies in PSSE and PSCAD for solar plants in the past.
- Knowledge of required Test certifications & standards for Inverters. Techno-commercial acumen to select the suitable product.
- Maintain upto date knowledge & keep record of new technology innovations in area of power electronic.
- Candidate should be aware of various grid code requirements in Grid interconnection & reactive power support thereby selecting the optimal Inverter product & finalisation of plant capacity.
- Candidate should have knowledge of bidirectional inverters & its implementation with Energy storage, grid & Energy management system, Battery management system.
- Basic understanding of Solar plant, its equipment, basic calculations, Power plant controller, Know-how of Indian Standard, CEA guidelines specifically for Solar plant
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience in expert (Solar Inverter) level domain shall be taken into consideration.
- B.Tech. or M. Tech. in Power Electronics
