Responsibilities:
In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in our organization's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll activities for the German affiliates, in collaboration with external service provider and global service departments.
- Serving as a knowledgeable resource, providing advice and guidance on payroll, income tax, and social security matters to employees, managers, and colleagues.
- Being the central point of contact for local authorities and tax/social security audits in collaboration with your team.
- Taking charge of executing and implementing both local and global projects that shape the company's future.
- Supporting your team's growth by sharing your expertise and fostering their professional and personal development.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A completed degree or apprenticeship in tax and social security law and/or a degree in business administration.
- Extensive practical experience in payroll accounting, complemented by a deep understanding of wage tax and social security law, as well as financial accounting.
- Ideally, experience in managing international assignments and their implications on tax and social security matters.
- Initial leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- A meticulous, structured approach to your work, coupled with a high degree of independence, initiative, and strong teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in SAP/R3 HR and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Profound knowledge of both German and English, both written and spoken.
