Role Description:

• As they continue to expand our presence in Germany, they are seeking a dedicated Team Lead - Payroll to join the team in Munich.

Responsibilities:

In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in our organization's success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll activities for the German affiliates, in collaboration with external service provider and global service departments.
• Serving as a knowledgeable resource, providing advice and guidance on payroll, income tax, and social security matters to employees, managers, and colleagues.
• Being the central point of contact for local authorities and tax/social security audits in collaboration with your team.
• Taking charge of executing and implementing both local and global projects that shape the company's future.
• Supporting your team's growth by sharing your expertise and fostering their professional and personal development.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A completed degree or apprenticeship in tax and social security law and/or a degree in business administration.
• Extensive practical experience in payroll accounting, complemented by a deep understanding of wage tax and social security law, as well as financial accounting.
• Ideally, experience in managing international assignments and their implications on tax and social security matters.
• Initial leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• A meticulous, structured approach to your work, coupled with a high degree of independence, initiative, and strong teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in SAP/R3 HR and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Profound knowledge of both German and English, both written and spoken.
