Supplier Qualification Specialist

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage and evaluate potential service providers with different means of communications for the various our partners proponents.
• Draft advice for customers and management on services sourcing strategies.
• Prepare the yearly services sourcing plan in coordination with our partners proponents.
• Support in identifying and developing suitable service providers capable of meeting our partners requirements for different General Bid Slates.
• Organize own conferences and conferences with third parties and our partners proponents on a regular basis, or when deemed necessary.
• Coordinate with our partners proponents relating to prequalification process for all General Bid Slates.
• Initiate prequalification process for new services companies in SAP Ariba system and coordinate through the completion.
• Handle requests from service companies applying for registration with AOC in relation to prequalification process.
• Participate and support on AOC and our partners events, wherever applicable.
• Build and maintain relationships with business promotion agents such as governmental agents, embassies, and trade associations.
• Ensure delivery of regular and ad hoc reports to AOC and our partners Management (weekly highlights, MD highlights, Board meetings, Business Plan, Operating Plan and Focus Items).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, Accounting, Legal, Procurement/Supply Chain, science related equivalent or closely related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• In case not in possession of bachelor’s degree, professional expertise could also been obtained through approximately 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and verbally.
• Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer, Outlook, SAP/ERP system.
