Tax Senior

Our client is one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the United States, and 4th among mid-Atlantic firms, with over 2,400 employees in 21 U.S. and International offices.

Our client provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with applicable professional standards, provides attest services, and its subsidiary entities provide tax, advisory, and business consulting services

Responsibilities:

• Prepares federal, state, and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projects for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual).
• Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoring.
• Review tax information supplied by client and obtain open items. 
• Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-up.
• Perform tax Research to revolve issues.
• Identify and communicate tac matters to managers and Partners. 
• Build relationships with clients and staff. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Masters in Taxation preferred. 
• 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
• CPA or ( in progress) preferred. 
• Possess knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws – business and individual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsive to clients.
• Must have excellent client service skills.
• Approaches projects with a sense of urgency. 
• Highly motivated.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. 
• Knowledge of Axcess and XCM is a plus.
