Transportation Engineer

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies, techno-economic analysis, and life cycle assessment of various mobility technologies and solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and procure NEVs and smart mobility solutions from leading manufacturers and suppliers.
• Design, implement, and monitor pilot projects and trials in various operational scenarios.
• Collect, analyze, and report data and feedback from pilot projects and trials to assess.
• Performance, reliability, safety, and user satisfaction
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
• Develop and update standards, specifications, and best practices for NEVs and advanced mobility solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners, such as R&D, engineering, maintenance, environmental, safety and regulatory to facilitate the integration and adoption of NEVs and smart mobility solutions.
• Identify and propose new opportunities and initiatives for enhancing the company’s mobility innovation and technology portfolio.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or Systems from a recognized and approved program
• Prior experience in one or more areas of smart & sustainable mobility solutions, with exposure to New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and emerging mobility technologies,
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering mobility projects and trials, with demonstrated skills in project management, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Strong knowledge of the current and emerging mobility technologies and solutions, as well as the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
• High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required.
