Job description

Responsibilities:

Professionals will have expertise in one or more networking system technology areas.

Examples include:

Routers
Networking controllers
Bridges
oR Networking software related to these technologies.

Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of concept solutions with networking system technology and architecting and implementing networking solutions to address client requirements.

Professionals will work with products or solutions based on any vendor hardware and/or any vendor operating system software.
VMware 6.7 and 7.0+ SysAdmin
knowledge of Linux troubleshooting in ESXi
Good knowledge in VMware server and other virtualization platforms & experienced in large scale production support virtualization environment.
Assess and implements best practices in line with change management process, troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.

Requirements:

+3 years’ experience supporting VmWare vSphere 6.x / 7.x and above. Experience on ESXi host installation, configuration & troubleshooting. HA, DRS, patching, upgrades.
On Prem experience HCX (or cloud experience)
On Prem experience Networking (or cloud experience)
IT Specialist with +6 experience in total.
Experience in clustering, HA, DR
Fluent in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Scripting experience (Ansible, Python, Shell, etc.) for process automation.
Hyperscaler experience any of the main cloud provides (AWS, Azure or Google).

VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020
VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2020
